I guess maybe I’m in the minority here, but is anyone else experiencing this as a group? Let me explain–I have three friends (for privacy’s sake we’ll call them JK, DC and DI). Our hatman experience started with DI, who one day mentioned in passing that he’d had a weird ‘dream’ about a man in a bowler cap. We passed this off as just a dream, but a few weeks later, while in JK’s house, I saw a strange man standing in a corner and watching me. He was mid-height, with a black bowler cap, a pinstripe suit, and the most sinister, crooked grin. I explained this to my friends, who took me at my word, but hadn’t seen anything themselves.
Some time later, JK came forward to tell me he’d encountered the same man after my initial contact. During this time, I was still seeing the hatman periodically–in my bedroom watching me as I woke up, on the side of the street while driving, etc. It always left me feeling disturbed and emotional, like something bad was going to happen or I was in immediate danger.
Just recently, my other friend, DC, has told me he encountered the hatman. We’ve spoken at length about it and come to the conclusion that we’re all seeing the same thing–but we’ve no clue why.
There are other things that factor into this, but I’m not exactly sure how to explain it all. I just want to know–has anyone else found not only themselves, but people close to them seeing the hatman?
