I was deer hunting in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in 2008 when I saw hat-man. I didn’t even think about my sighting until just a while ago. Just decided to look it up recently, I was very shocked to see what I saw had a name and that others had seen him too. I Googled his characteristics and was surprised to see so much online about him.
Anyway it was the day after Thanksgiving about 3:00pm when I was hunting in the woods. I was sitting on a log halfway up a hill, looking down at a deer run. Beyond the deer run was an abandoned railroad grade and trees. As I was slowly scanning the trees out pops a black figure with a cape and hat about 7 to 8 feet tall. No features just a black shape. He popped out from behind the tree on one side and then on the other side. It was as though he was teasing me. His movement was jiggly and quick. Somehow I felt like he was smiling at me, even though he had no facial features. Least to say I thought I snapped and decided to head back to the cabin. Very scary! What does he want?
