After reading “The dancing Hatman” It called my attention this story and gave me the creeps, when I was 5 , in 1978, I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I went to bed, my brother slept on the bed above me, about 3 metres from me on the opposite wall there is a window, with the shutters closed, the only light in the room was from a street lamp outsite coming through the shutters, the rest total blackness, only the rectagle of the window visible. i woke up in the middle of the night, and to my terror there is a black figure infront of the window, very clear, inside my room, dancing on top the drawers that are under the window next to the wall. i could clearly see him from his head to his knees, dancing, in no menacing way, no hat, but I just froze, cold not even scream for my parents in the next room. i decide to shut my eyes, cover my head with the blankets and force myself to sleep. Later, I woke up again, not sure how much time had passed, I remember the figure, relieved I had slept and expecting not to see it ever again, I look at at the window, and to my sheer terror its still there, dancing away…panic again, cover myself up, go to sleep, and never saw it again. Now I see Im not the only one who saw dancing shadows. Just the same we had a few other minor incidents in that room, a but scary but not as that one, orange lights, a couple of shadows seen by others, unborn babies…uh…thanks for your story. One more thing, 20 years later I decide to stand next to the window the measure how tall this figure was, as I said before I could see a gap over his head, then from his head to his knees. I do not fit to this measures next to the window, im too tall, so creepy as it is this figure was the size of a child or dwarf, uncanny.
