I first saw the “hat man” when I was 7 or 8 years old. My sisters and I were sharing a room when we lived in Oklahoma. I saw him only once or twice, he was standing in my closet doorway. He never seemed threatening but I was still so terrified I ran out of the house. Later I told my two sisters and they both have seen him too. He was always in the closet. But then my older sister saw him once more. He was in pacing in the bedroom with his hand to his chin, like he was trying to figure something out. She said he seemed confused. To this day she feels sorry for him, I am still afraid of him. But we all remember him. It has been more then ten years.
