When I was about four or five years old I was in my bedroom trying to sleep. My light was off but I had my door open and the hallway light on. I remember opening my eyes and seeing a man with a long trench coat and a wide brim hat standing in the hallway starring at me. This scared me so much that to this day I can’t sleep without my light on, even though I’m fourteen now. I haven’t thought much about this for the longest time but recently I have been seeing figures in the corner of my eyes and when I look at them they move quickly almost like a blur. Some time it’s cats sometimes its people but so far I haven’t seen the hat man again. Anyways after a couple months of this happening I decided to google it and I found out that they were called shadow figures. Thats when I saw the words “the hat man” and chills went up my spine. I googled “the hat man” and saw a picture of EXACTLY what I had seen when I was little.
