Was tormented my a large shadow person since I was 7 years old in 1983.
My bedroom was in the basement with no windows but you could still see it. As tall as the 8-foot ceiling. In some kind of robe (no hat) with red eyes. None of my instances were sleep paralysis. I was able to try and run. I felt intense fear on my part and hatred on it. I tried to find the stairs and could only feel 4 solid walls. Finally ran for my bed being flung to the headboard with it on me.
Don’t know if I passed out but the next thing I remember was waking up. After this thing being in my room for about 10 years my parents had a preacher come bless the house. I moved out shortly after and my parents sold the house. However, it was still in my first apartment and after feeling it on my bed I got the preacher to bless the apartment and I always kept a bible next to the bed. Obviously, I had no internet or any way of finding out what this was. Once I heard a story many years later on Art Bell and felt so much relief that I was not crazy. I have always wanted an answer to what this was. It could physically harm me and that is terrifying. I am almost 50 years old and this memory is still sharp and terrifying!
